ac-sialexo-02

SialEXO®

The SialEXO family are sialidase products for the removal and analysis of sialic acids. The enzymes are active on N- or O-linked glycans present on native glycoproteins or released glycan structures.

SialEXO is available in three different product formats:

  • SialEXO - sialidase mix for complete removal of sialic acids (α2-3, α2-6 & α2-8)
  • SialEXO 23 - an α2-3 specific sialidase
  • Immobilized SialEXO - immobilized SialEXO on agarose beads

Product Information

The SialEXO family are sialidase products for the removal and analysis of sialic acids on native glycoproteins or on released glycans. The sialidases have unique activities and they work fast with no need for co-factors. They are active on both N- and O-linked glycans.

Product Formats

SialEXO®

SialEXO for complete removal of sialic acids (α2-3, α2-6 and α2-8). It is supplied as a lyophilized powder. SialEXO is available in 2000 unit vials for desialylation of up to 2 mg glycoprotein.

SialEXO® 23

SialEXO 23 for complete removal of α2-3 sialic acids. It is supplied as a lyophilized powder. The enzyme is available in 500 unit vials for desialylation of up to 0.5 mg glycoprotein.

Immobilized SialEXO®

SialEXO immobilized on agarose beads, allowing for desialylation of 0.5 mg glycoprotein in 30 minutes without enzyme in the final preparation.
