Anti-FabRICATOR® Z – Detection of the FabRICATOR® Z Enzyme

Anti-FabRICATOR Z (Anti-IdeZ) is a goat polyclonal antibody detecting the FabRICATOR Z (IdeZ) enzyme.

It is available in two formats; Affinity Purified and Affinity Purified Biotin Conjugated. Anti-FabRICATOR Z can be used to detect the IdeZ enzyme in Western blot and ELISA assays, as for example in preclinical gene therapy applications.

About Anti-FabRICATOR® Z

The Anti-FabRICATOR Z products are sensitive reagents for detecting the FabRICATOR Z (IdeZ) enzyme.

FabRICATOR Z is a unique enzyme that digests IgG, including mouse IgG2a and IgG3, at a specific site below the hinge region, generating intact F(ab’)2 and Fc/2 fragments. There is no other known substrate besides IgG. FabRICATOR Z is derived from S. equi ssp. Zooepidemicus and is expressed in E. coli. The Anti-FabRICATOR Z products are generated in goat and affinity purified using FabRICATOR Z as the affinity ligand.
