FabRICATOR®

FabRICATOR®Z Antibody Cleavage

FabRICATOR® (IdeZ)

FabRICATOR Z (IdeZ) is a homologue to FabRICATOR with increased activity on mouse IgG2a that specifically cut the antibody just below the hinge region. FabRICATOR Z, derived from Streptococcus equi ssp. zooepidemicus, digests mouse IgG2a and IgG3 and produces a homogenous pool of F(ab')2 and Fc fragments after 2 hours incubation.

FabRICATOR Z is available as lyophilized enzyme in 2000 units and immobilized on columns FragIT Z and FragIT Z Kit.

Key Characteristics

  • Precise - one cleavage site and no over-digestion. Homogenous pool of fragments
  • More efficient on mouse IgG2a than FabRICATOR
  • Robust - works every time
