KRysin is a high-fidelity protease that generates tryptic peptides with far fewer missed cleavages. In human plasma, 97% of unique peptides were fully cleaved with KRysin, compared with 82% for Trypsin/LysC and 69% for Trypsin. The result is more plasma protein groups at every throughput tested, from 60 to 500 samples per day, more low-abundance receptors, cytokines and growth factors, and around 27% more class 1 phosphosites in HeLa extracts.
