TrypsINATOR™ Lyophilized
Lyophilized enzyme for arginine- and lysine-specific protein digestion
TrypsINATOR (Trypsin) is a serine protease that digests proteins C-terminally of arginine and lysine residues.
TrypsINATOR Lyophilized is available as a lyophilized powder in vials of 100 μg enzyme.

Product Information
Quality Control Assay
0.02 μg TrypsINATOR Lyophilized digests ≥90% of 1 μg apomyoglobin when incubated in 50 mM Tris-HCl pH 8.0 at RT, for 30 minutes.
Buffers
TrypsINATOR is optimally active in a pH range of 7.0 – 9.0 and compatible with standard digestion buffers, including Tris-HCl, ammonium bicarbonate, HEPES, PBS and TEAB.
Content and Storage
TrypsINATOR Lyophilized is supplied lyophilized in 50 mM HEPES, 100 mM NaCl, 2% trehalose, pH 8.5, with no preservatives added. It is shipped cold and should be stored at -20°C upon arrival. After reconstitution, TrypsINATOR Lyophilized is stable for 4 weeks at -20°C or for 1 week at +4-8°C.

FAQ and Support
Are TrypsINATOR and TrypsINATOR LysCERATOR Mix active at lower pH?
Yes, both TrypsINATOR and TrypsINATOR LysCERATOR Mix are active down to pH 5, however, with a lower digestion efficiency.
