FabALACTICA (IgdE) is a cysteine protease that digests human IgG1 at a specific site above the hinge, generating intact and homogenous Fab and Fc fragments.
FabALACTICA Fab kit for generation and isolation of pure Fab fragments from 10-100 mg human IgG1. The kit consist of 3 spin columns – one for fragmentation (Immobilized FabALACTICA column) and 2 for purification of Fab fragments,
The Immobilized FabALACTICA column is FabALACTICA enzyme immobilized on agarose and the second column has affinity ligands selective for Fc fragments.
