AlligBAITOR™ Affinity Purification
Affinity resin for all Ig capture and antigen release.
AlligBAITOR is an immunoglobulin-binding protein that binds all human immunoglobulin isotypes and subclasses. Upon AlligBAITOR binding, any bound antigen is released from the immune complex.
AlligBAITOR Affinity Purification is provided in a convenient spin column format. The product contains:
- 4 AlligBAITOR Affinity Purification Microspin columns, each with a capacity to bind approximately 0.2 mg human immunoglobulin.
AlligBAITOR Affinity Purification enables immunoglobulin depletion from human serum and simultaneous, downstream, proteomic characterization of captured immunoglobulins.

Binding Capacity
One AlligBAITOR Affinity Purification column binds ≥90% of Ig from 10 µl human serum when incubated in PBS buffer at RT for 30 minutes
Buffers
AlligBAITOR Affinity Purification is active in a wide range of physiological relevant buffer conditions, including PBS and TBS, in a salt concentration up to 500 mM and in the pH range 5.5 – 8.5.
Content and Storage
AlligBAITOR Affinity Purification contains:
- 4 AlligBAITOR Affinity Purification Microspin columns, each with a capacity to bind approximately 0.2 mg human immunoglobulin.
AlligBAITOR Affinity Purification is shipped cold and should be stored at +4-8°C upon arrival. Do not freeze the columns.

FAQ and Support
Can you use the Affinity Purification format for antigen release?
For antigen release experiments, we recommend using AlligBAITOR Lyophilized. Immobilization of the AlligBAITOR can limit its ability to release antigens in a fully efficient manner.
Does AlligBAITOR bind only to human immunoglobulins?
No, we have also seen binding activity towards immunoglobulins of other species (goat, rabbit and mouse) using AlligBAITOR.
