Immobilized enzyme on magnetic beads for automated digestion of IgG below the hinge
FabRICATOR (IdeS) is an IgG-specific cysteine protease that digests antibodies at a single amino acid site below the hinge, generating homogenous F(ab’)2 and Fc fragments.
FabRICATOR MagIC 4 x 2 mL includes magnetic beads with immobilized FabRICATOR that is sufficient for 96 antibodies to be digested in parallel. 20 µl settled resin digests ≥ 95% of 0.02-0.2 mg Human IgG1 in 100 µl sample volume.
