FabALACTICA (IgdE) is a cysteine protease that digests human IgG1 at a specific site above the hinge, generating intact and homogenous Fab and Fc fragments.
FabALACTICA Fab kit for generation and isolation of pure Fab fragments from 1-10 mg human IgG1. The kit consist of 2 spin columns – one for fragmentation (Immobilized FabALACTICA column) and one for purification of Fab fragments,
The Immobilized FabALACTICA column is FabALACTICA enzyme immobilized on agarose and the second column has affinity ligands selective for Fc fragments.
