Hydrolysis of α1-2,3,4 Fucose
FucosEXO is a mix of α-Fucosidases for efficient hydrolysis of α1-2, α1-3 and α1-4-linked fucose residues on native N- and O-glycosylated proteins or free oligosaccharides.
It is a valuable tool for glycan structure analysis on N- and O-glycoproteins and in exoglycosidase arrays on oligosaccharides.
- Highly efficient α-Fucosidase mixture – fast removal of α1-2, α1-3 and α1-4-linked fucose
- Reliable digestion increases confidence in exoglycosidase arrays
- Available immobilized in ready-to-use spin columns
FucosEXO™ Lyophilized
Lyophilized enzyme for defucosylation of glycoproteinsFucosEXO™ Immobilized
Immobilized enzyme for defucosylation of glycoproteins in spin columnsAbout FucosEXO™
FucosEXO is a mix of α-Fucosidases for efficient hydrolysis of α1-2, α1-3 and α1-4-linked fucose on N- and O-glycosylated proteins or free oligosaccharides.
The enzymes in FucosEXO are expressed in E. coli with a His-tag, and have molecular weights of 87 kDa and 64 kDa. FucosEXO hydrolyzes fucose on glycoproteins under native conditions and displays high activity in a pH range from 6 to 8, without the need for co-factors or additives.

FucosEXO™ Immobilized
Immobilized enzyme for defucosylation of glycoproteins in spin columns.
The FucosEXO Immobilized spin columns contain FucosEXO enzyme covalently coupled to agarose beads, for defucosylation of glycoprotein without contaminating the final preparation with enzyme.
The Microspin columns are available for defucosylation of 5 or 10 x 0.5 mg glycoprotein.
- Easy-to-use spin columns
- Increased enzyme-to-substrate ratio for improved digestion efficiency
- No enzyme in the final sample
