SmartEnzymes™

EXOglycosidases

The Genovis product line of exoglycosidases consists of:

SialEXO® – Exoglycosidase hydrolyzing terminal sialic acids.

FucosEXO™ – Exoglycosidase hydrolyzing ɑ1-2,3,4 linked fucose.

GalactEXO™ – Exoglycosidase hydrolyzing terminal galactose.

GalNAcEXO™ - Exoglycosidase hydrolyzing GalNAc residues.

An overview of the enzymes are presented on this page. Please visit the individual product pages for full details on the different exoglycosidases.

Enzymes for O-Glycans sialexo

SialEXO is a sialidase mix for complete removal of sialic acids from
2 mg native glycoprotein.

Key Characteristics

  • Hydrolyzes sialic acids on N- and O-linked glycans
  • 2 h reaction
  • α2-3, α2-6 and α2-8-linked sialic acids
  • Requires no co-factors

FucosEXO is a fucosidases for removal of α1-2,3,4 linked fucose from glycoproteins.

Key Characteristics

  • 1-2 h incubation
  • ɑ1-2,3,4 linked fucose
  • No co-factors required

GalactEXO is a β-galactosidase for efficient hydrolysis of galactose residues from N- and O-linked glycans on 2 mg glycoprotein.

Key Characteristics

  • Galactosidase hydrolyzing galactose on N- and O-glycoproteins or free oligosaccharides
  • 2 h reaction
  • β1-3 and β1-4 linked galactose residues
  • Requires removal of terminal sialic acids (see SialEXO above)

GalNAcEXO is an α-N-Acetylgalactosaminidase for efficient hydrolysis of GalNAc residues.
