NIMT®FeOfection - Simplify Transfection

NIMT®FeOfection is a set of transfection reagents for delivery of plasmid DNA, siRNA and RNAi vectors into a broad range of cell lines. Using nanotechnology, NIMT®FeOfection offers transfection of cells with high transfection efficiency and high cell viability as well as other important features.

NIMT®FeOfection transfection reagents work on many different cell types and both adherent and suspension cell lines. The size of the nano particles can be precisely controlled thus giving a narrow and precise size distribution. The controlled production process and  the unique composition of the particles gives the reagents features that is hard to find with other transfection reagents. Still NIMT®FeOfection is as easy to use as e.g. lipid base reagents and there is no need of medium changes or usage of special buffers. The only thing to remember is to always use water when diluting the particles and DNA or siRNA.  
 

Easy to Use

NIMT®FeOfection reagents are easy and quick to use and handle. Simply mix and incubate, then add the reagent to cells. Works well for both forward and reverse transfection.

Highly Uniform and Stable Nano Particles

Highly uniform and stable iron oxide nano particles with a lipid coating. The precisely controlled production gives the particles a very narrow size distribution.

No Over Expression of Plasmids

No over expression of the transfected plasmid due to controlled release. The expression per cells is lower compared to other leadning transfection reagents which leads to higher survival rates of cells.

Stable Cores Protects siRNA

Stable particles that can shield siRNA against degradation and knockdown can be seen for a longer time after transfection. In suspension cells optimal knockdown is detected for 72 hours.

Possibility of Long Incubation Times of Complexes

Uniform size of the particles gives the ability to incubate transfection complexes a long time. The long incubation time of the complexes i useful in high throughput applications.

The Magnetic Core can be Traced

The iron oxide core gives the transfecion reagents an additional benifit: it can be traced with MRI. Transfect cells ex vivo, transplant and follow the cells with MRI.
