NIMT^®FeOfection Transfection Agents

Each eukaryotic cell line has its own unique features. There is no single transfection agent that can perform optimal delivery into all cell lines. Genovis has therefore developed three different transfection agents for delivery of plasmid DNA, RNAi vectors and siRNA, each with a unique formulation, to achieve transfection with high efficiency in a broad range of cell lines.

Selecting Transfection Reagent by Application

Here is a short gudie to which transfection agent to choose for your specific cell line and transfection purposes. The cell lines listed below are cell lines that we have tested and attained high transfection efficiency in with NIMT^®FeOfection. However, for optimal transfection results we do recommend testing which NIMT^®FeOfection reagent that works best for your specific cell line and application.

siRNA delivery
NIMT^®feOfection |PURPLE  is ideal for delivery of siRNA into adherent cell lines such as HEK293, 786-O, MEF and hMSC. 
NIMT^®feOfection | PINK transfects siRNA into hMSC.

Transfection of plasmid DNA – suspension cell lines
NIMT^®feOfection |YELLOW with NIMT^®Booster transfects plasmid DNA in difficult to transfect suspension cell lines such as K562 and Jurkat cells as well as adherent cell lines e.g. HEK293 and U-2 OS.

Transfection of plasmid DNA – adherent cell lines
NIMT^®feOfection | PINK  transfects plasmid DNA into adherent cell lines e.g. COS-7.
NIMT^®feOfection | PINK with NIMT^®Booster – is suited for transfection of plasmid DNA into adherent cell lines such as HEK293 and U-2 OS.
