|YELLOW consists of nanoparticles with an iron oxide core. The particles are coated with cationic lipids that bind DNA and promote the uptake of transfection complexes into cells. The superparamagnetic particles offer the possibility of combined delivery and imaging since the particles easily can be visualised with MRI.
