NIMT®FeOfection|PURPLE
|

NIMT®FeOfection|PURPLE is a transfection agent specifically developed for delivery of siRNA into mammalian cell lines. With NIMT®FeOfection|PURPLE high transfection efficiency is achieved with a minimal impact on cell viability. The transfection procedure is very easy and quick. Just add siRNA to NIMT®FeOfection|PURPLE incubate for 20 min and then add to cells. Read out your specific knockdown 24-48 hrs post transfection.
NIMT®FeOfection|PURPLE consists of an iron oxide core which is coated with cationic lipids to bind siRNA and promote uptake of transfection complexes into cells.
With a magnetic core NIMT®FeOfection|PURPLE offers the possibility of combined delivery and imaging, the nanoparticles can easily be visualized with MRI.
Adherent cell lines such as HEK293, 786-O, MEF and hMSC are all successfully transfected with 90% or higher knockdown of GAPDH when transfected with a siRNA towards GAPDH using NIMT®FeOfection|PURPLE as transfection agent. |
