NIMT® FeOdots - Superparamagnetic Nanoparticles
FeOdots are nano-sized superparamagnetic particles with high magnetic susceptibility. Depending on the intended use, the particles can be coated with various surface molecules. The iron oxide cores are coated with a lipid surface that promotes particle stability and solubility in many common buffers at physiological pHs and ionic strengths. These coatings also serve as an effective anchor for further derivatizations and/or conjugation with fluorescent markers, enzymes, antibodies or affinity tags.
